外籍教练中国冰雪项目的跨国界力量

　　他们中有些曾是冰雪上耀眼的明星，有些是早已功成名就的金牌教练。他们是跨越国界的体育精神的践行者。他们如今有一个共同的身份：51名中国冬奥体育代表团教练。
　　Some of them have been dazzling stars on the ice and snow, some have long been successful gold-winning coaches. All of them are practitioners of the spirit of ＂sports across borders＂. They now have the same identity: 51 coaches of the Chinese Winter Olympic Delegation.

　　2月15日，单板滑雪男子大跳台决赛第三跳，得知苏翊鸣已经稳获金牌的教练佐藤康弘哭了,赛后师徒二人相拥而泣。谈起两人的故事，佐藤表示，如果四年前，他还曾对执教中国国家队有所犹豫，而今，他和苏翊鸣的故事一定会继续，＂我们四年后意大利冬奥见！＂
　　On February 15, Coach Sato Yasuhiro, who learned that Su Yiming had won the gold medal, cried for the third jump in men＂s platform final of snowboarding. After the game, the teacher and disciple hugged each other and wept. Talking about their story, Sato said that he had hesitated to coach the Chinese national team four years ago, now the story between him and Su Yiming will continue, ＂Together we will fight for the Italian Winter Olympics four years later!＂
　　今年47岁的佐藤康弘在日本被称为＂单板滑雪之父＂，从事滑雪运动的三十年历程里，他为日本培养了鬼塚雅、岩渊丽乐、大塚健等名将。2018年平昌冬奥会后，佐藤受邀担任中国单板滑雪队主教练，成为了执教中日两队第一人。由于当时很多冰雪运动选手属于跨界跨项选材，佐藤康弘用自己丰富的实践经验研究了一套＂速成法＂，帮助运动员们短时间里达到中高等级水平。14岁的苏翊鸣正是在佐藤的指导下进步神速，在同龄人中迅速脱颖而出。
　　47-year-old Sato Yasuhiro is known as the ＂Father of Snowboarding＂ in Japan, who has coached Olympic stars including Miyabi Onitsuka, Reira Iwabuchi and Takeru Otsuka in thirty years of skiing. After the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, Sato was invited to be the head coach of Chinese snowboarding team, being the first to coach both China and Japan both teams. Sato developed a speed-up teaching methodology with his rich practical experience, for athletes changing to snowboarding from other events. Under the guidance of Santo, 14-year-old Su improved remarkably, quickly standing out from the peers.

　　In Sato＂s album, one photo is his favorite. It was taken in Colorado, US, December 2021, where the snowboard World Cup was held. In the photo, he was surrounded by Japanese player Reira Iwabuchi and Chinese player Su Yiming, both won gold medal under Sato’s guidance. Sato said ＂Because of me, athletes of two countries have a natural interaction. I really feel that I am a bridge, and this is my happiest moment.＂ Sato said in several interviews that sports are not only competition with each other, but also a way to cross national boundaries, and he is willing to contribute to the friendship between Japan and China.
　　佐藤说，收下苏翊鸣这个弟子后，才有机会深入了解中国，结交了很多朋友，这也是自己的重要收获。他欣赏中国人的真诚和率真，回国后，他想对身边人说，希望日本人更多地以积极心态看待中国，以包容的姿势接触不同文化，这样才能让人生更加饱满。佐藤教练同样向中国朋友发出邀请：＂疫情结束后，应该会有很多中国朋友想到日本去体验松软的粉雪，希望大家在享受滑雪的同时，也能感受日本的优点，深入了解日本文化。＂
　　Sato said that after coaching Su, he had the opportunity to learn more about China and made many friends, which was also an important gain for himself. He appreciated the sincerity and frankness of Chinese people. He hoped that Japanese people would look at China with a more positive attitude and embrace different cultures with an inclusive attitude. Only in this way can their life be enriched. Sato also sent invitations to Chinese friends, ＂After the epidemic is over, many Chinese friends will go to experience the soft powder snow in Japan. I hope that while enjoying skiing, you can also learn more about Japanese culture.＂

　　On February 15 in the men＂s Big Air event, Su hugged Sato as usual before he took to the stage. ＂Every time when I hug him before taking to the stage, I feel a very special power. ＂ Said Su to the media. In the final round when Su knew he had secured the victory, Standing on a platform 50 meters high, he gave Sato a passionate hug of celebration. After the competition, Su gave special thanks to his coach, Yasuhiro Sato. ＂Since the very first day of cooperation, I trusted him 100%, and he liked me very much and recognized my capabilities. 　　After Su won the championship, Yasuhiro Sato put Chinese national flag on Su. ＂We hope to get a second gold medal at the next Olympics in Milan,＂ Sato said. Crossing national boundaries, Su and Santo will join hands to make more historical miracles.

　　金善台是中国队的＂老对手＂，上一个冬奥周期，他执教的韩国队在平昌冬奥会上夺得3金1银2铜，高居奖牌榜首位。然而，会说一口流利中文的金同时也是中国文化的＂粉丝＂，自2004年起，他就曾两度执教长春队，为中国队发掘了周洋、韩天宇等优秀运动员，金善台曾向媒体透露：＂中国人十分热情真诚，这里让我感到一种归属感。＂
　　Kim Sun-tae has been a ＂lifetime rival＂ of the Chinese team. In the last winter Olympic cycle, the South Korean team he coached won 3 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronzes at the Pyeong Chang Winter Olympic Games, ranking first among all teams. However, Kim, who can speak fluent Chinese, is also a ＂fan＂ of Chinese culture. Since 2006, he has coached Changchun municipal team twice and recommended excellent athletes such as Zhou Yang and Han Tianyu for the Chinese national team. Kim once told the press: ＂ Chinese people are very warm and sincere, which makes me feel a sense of belonging.＂
　　对中国短道速滑深刻理解加之语言优势，让国家队向金善台抛出了橄榄枝，2019年金善台正式成为中国队主教练。此次的北京冬奥会，金善台也不负众望，带领中国队获得卓越成绩，同时也难掩内心的激动，为中国队加油助威。短道速滑第一个项目，武大靖的冰刀高抬第一个跨过终点时，他跳上场边的防护垫，双膝跪在垫上，发出痛快兴奋的呐喊；短道速滑男子1000米，任子威摘金的瞬间，他上前紧紧抱住任子威。
　　With a deep understanding of Chinese short track speed skating and his language advantage, Kim Sun-tae got an invitation form Chinese national team. In 2019, Kim Sun-tae officially became the head coach of the Chinese team. In the Beijing Winter Olympics, Kim Sun-tae lived up to expectations and led the Chinese team to achieve outstanding results. He cheered for the Chinese team all the time. In the first event of short track speed skating, when Wu Dajing crossed the finish line first, he jumped on the protective pad beside the field, knelt on the pad and shouted with joy and excitement. In the man’s 1000 meters event, when Ren Ziwei won the gold medal, he rushed forward and hugged Ren Ziwei tightly.
　　冬奥会后，金善台表示自己将暂时离开国家队，即将回到韩国之际，金善台在微博上这样写道：＂在中国的这十几年里，我亲眼见证了中国短道速滑队一批又一批优秀的运动员诞生，我为他们感到骄傲。＂
　　Kim Sun-tae said he would leave the national team temporarily after the Winter Olympics. Before leaving for Korea, Kim Sun tae wrote on his weibo, ＂In the past ten years in China, I have witnessed the growth of excellent athletes of China＂s short track speed skating team generations after generations, and I am proud of them.＂

　　与金善台相似，安贤洙是一名在2006年都灵冬奥会和2014年索契冬奥会上都大获全胜的传奇运动员，在2020年退役后，他作为一名技术教练加入中国短道速滑队，帮助武大靖等运动员取得了巨大的进步。安贤洙和武大靖曾是对手，但现在是在一起滑冰，互相切磋的挚友。
　　Similar to Kim, Ahn Hyun-Soo, a top speed skater who won big in both Torino 2006 and Sochi 2014, came to help the Chinese team by providing his expertise as a technical coach. His contribution has helped star athletes such as Wu Dajing see enormous progress. Ahn and Wu were once rivals, but are now friends who skate together on the ice.
　　属于安贤洙的标签很多，不乏赞美与争议，毋庸置疑的是，他是短道速滑的传奇，在冰场上斩获了无数枚奖牌。中国名将王濛评价＂全世界没有第二个安贤洙＂、＂这个冰场上可以有很多的传奇，但是能引领短道、改变短道的一个时代的，是安贤洙时代＂。
　　There are many labels on Ahn, an athlete surrounded by both praises and controversies. However, there is no doubt that he is a legend of short track speed skating and has won countless medals on the ice. Chinese famous athlete Wang Meng commented that there was no second Ahn Hyun-Soo in the world and there could be many legends on this ice rink, but it was Ahn Hyun-Soo era that could lead and change the short track.
　　他曾在都灵冬奥会的短道速滑冰场上斩获三金一铜的奇迹，却不幸成为韩国短道速滑队派系斗争的牺牲品，韩国国内没有团队愿意接受他。于是他背井离乡来到容纳自己的俄罗斯，成为维克多·安，在索契冬奥会上以极高的水准再现了三金一铜的奇迹，成为冬奥会＂六金王＂。然而，他却因为俄罗斯队深陷兴奋剂丑闻失去参加平昌冬奥会的机会，又因为新冠疫情而错过短道速滑世锦赛。2020年4月，他宣布退役。
　　He once won three gold medals and one bronze at the short track speed skating rink of the Turin Winter Olympics, but unfortunately he had become a victim of the power struggles among the South Korean Short Track Speed skating team. No teams in South Korea would accept him. So he left his hometown for Russia, and became Victor Ann. At the Sochi Winter Olympics, he reproduced the miracle of three gold medals and one bronze with an extremely high level of performance, and became the ＂six-gold king＂ of the Winter Olympics. However, he lost the chance to participate in the Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games because of doping scandal of Russia, and then missed the world championships due to COVID-19. In April 2020, he announced his retirement.

　　Ahn Hyun-Soo＂s sports career is full of setbacks, countless honors, and unspeakable sadness and regret. Nevertheless, he still loves short track speed skating, as he wrote in his retirement letter, ＂No matter where I am, I will try my best to develop short track speed skating.＂
　　北京冬奥会后，安贤洙与国家队的合约也将到期，谈及对未来的规划，安贤洙表示会先休息一下，回家跟妻子女儿团聚。
　　After the Beijing Winter Olympics, Ahn’s contract with the national team will come to an end. Talking about the future, Ahn Hyun-Soo said he would take a break and go home to reunite with his wife and daughter.

　　Jamie gray Melton, the coach of China＂s freestyle skiing team at the Winter Olympics, was Gu Ailing＂s first coach in professional skiing team. From Gu Ailing＂s childhood to this gold medal winning journey, he has always been there.
　　在谷爱凌只有 11 岁的时候，梅尔顿便向谷爱凌推荐了布拉德·普罗塞教练。普罗塞曾是名将凯莉·希尔达鲁和本届冬奥会女子大跳台亚军苔丝·勒德的个人教练，拥有着丰富的顶级冰雪运动员执教经验。值得注意的是，伴随谷爱凌不断成长的两位滑雪名宿，最后都与中国队结下了不解之缘。
　　When Gu Ailing was 11 years old, Melton recommended coach Brad Prosser to Gu ailing. Prosser used to be private coaches of famous athletes like Kelly hildaru, and Tess Leder, the runner-up of women＂s platform in the Winter Olympics. He has rich experiences in coaching top ice and snow athletes. The two famous skiers and coaches who helped Gu ailing along the way, finally formed an indissoluble bond with the Chinese team.

　　In 2018, Prosser was hired as a technical coach by the Chinese national ski team, mainly responsible for U-shaped field skills. He took the national team to his hometown, Wanaka, New Zealand, for 78 days of training. He made a snow training plan and set training objectives according to the conditions of each Chinese athlete and their aptitudes.
